Oscar joined the Rouse Partners team from Deloitte and heads our tax department.

Oscar joined the Rouse Partners team from Deloitte and heads our tax department. In this role he is primarily involved with providing advice on tax structuring, planning and compliance services to entrepreneurs and their businesses.

Oscar has also acted as Chairman of the Praxity UK Tax Working Party, a forum of tax practitioners within Praxity, the world’s largest alliance of independent accounting firms.

Beginning his career as an auditor, Oscar progressed into tax, where he specialised in tax planning for more than fifteen years.

His deep tax technical knowledge, together with the business experience gained as an auditor, has given him a unique set of skills to provide pragmatic, commercial tax advice across a wide range of sectors. He is both a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Oscar has particular expertise in advising on the shareholders and company tax implications of corporate transactions, for example management buy-outs, trade sales and mergers and acquisitions. In addition, Oscar advises on international tax aspects for UK inbound investment and transaction services.
