I am Natalie, a Chartered Accountant and I work with our Accounts and Tax team at Finerva.

I am a Chartered Accountant and I work with our accounts and tax team, looking after our clients’ Statutory Accounts and Corporation Tax.

I qualified with a top twenty firm. As an Audit Manager, I gained extensive experience in both large and small organisations. More recently, I have worked as a client manager at a smaller practice working very closely with small business owners to look after their company accounts, corporation tax and personal tax and helping them to be tax efficient.

I love working with business owners, getting to know their business and being able to ‘add value’ by suggesting improvements to systems, providing timely advice or helping with queries. I enjoy being able to explain complicated matters to clients and helping them to save money. I strongly believe in collaborative work to achieve the best results.

I admire those who have dedicated their life to their work which still benefits us today, such as Marie Curie who developed the theory of radioactivity and Dorothy Hodgkin who was a pioneer of X-ray crystallography which had huge consequences for science. Also, I admire entrepreneurs who have been successful by improving on the ideas of others such as Henry Ford who brought cars to the masses by using factory production lines to increase productivity.

Outside work, I enjoy looking after my garden and trying to encourage the flowers to thrive. On rainy days I like to try all sorts of crafts! I enjoy running but, when I am tired, I like to escape with a good book- I love mysteries and thrillers.
